RICHusband?!

this post pops in my head when i read my friend's blog about her ambition. there is one part when she mentions about finding a rich husband, no offense to her post, but i do think we don't need to find a rich husband in order to be happy. Money only solves financial problems when there are a lot of problems out there besides money. If you can buy all the things you want, you only satisfy your physical needs not your spiritual needs.

this afternoon, i was on my way meeting my friends at Grand City. i saw my teacher from junior high school and it breaks my heart to see him in a pedicab on his way home. it's been such a long time since i graduate from junior high and i just can't believe he's still using a pedicab. not that i insult people who are using pedicab as their transport, i just think that his financial status should have been improved from last time. oh yeah, he is an active Catholic and i often saw him read the reading for the mass in the church. from there, i realized even if his financial status is not improving, he is still happy because he loves God wholeheartedly and surrenders his life fully to God. God really cares to his people.

my mother told me another story about my brother's teacher. my mother has gone to his house which is such a 'simple' house but somehow i imagine you'll feel peace there. he has been praying the rosary prayer every night for years. it looks simple but i've tried another prayer which only requires 9 days to pray it continuously at the same time and i failed. so it really took a big effort to do it for years! he looks happy and he has never been sick which is amazing considering he is quite old. with the small pay of teachers, he successfully raised his children which are all graduates as bachelors. such an achievement! even one of them successfully become a doctor, as you know the tuition for medical program is not cheap.

so yeah, it doesn't mean that i don't need to earn money and just pray to God then money will come from the sky. i believe u just have to surrender and believe in God then God will show you the way :) and God has been such a big help for me in those depressing moments of my life. i never feel God this real before and God is the only one who will never leave you alone.

it makes me realize that there are lots other things which are more important to think of besides a love-shit thing. so yeah, love is such a stupid thing to fill your head with.

i'm sure i can be happy even without a husband or marriage. God's best plan doesn't always include marriage. the reason is that marriage is not a simple thing! so don't think your life will be happily ever after the moment u say 'yes'. your real problems start there, honey. it's not that i become anti guys, for now maybe *sick-of-love-shits* for the future maybe yes, maybe no. but i am going to enjoy my single life to the fullest reaching my dreams and maybe get married when i'm ready :)

P.S.: after u have a family, say goodbye to your dreams and freedom. so yeah, marriage is a huge, big, important, serious, life-changing step in your life. think 1million times before you say 'yes' :)

IamME,onceAgain?

back to my old-cheerful-self who dreams big, always happy, ignoring what others think, and always have fun? (oh yeah, i forgot my straight-forward-ness which hurts my dears sometimes :P sorry, doesn't mean it) yeah i guess so :) this is who-i-am now :D i am happy for being myself once again :) but with the additional of 'maturity' which is a superb improvement, considering my-old-self is super childish heehee :P

introspective thinking to myself :
a busy person hates people who waste their time slacking, i get it now! :P

i am a slacker! pitifully for the past 19-damn-long years :( i gave up to learn almost everything when a small obstacle comes *sigh* which is a lack-of-facilities-and-funding, such-an-excuse! GOSH! i guess i was really too comfortable with myself, my dad's hard-work, my mom's care *sigh*

lessons learned!

curiosity and passion leads me to self-taught. i did do a self-taught to learn video-editing and the feedback is quite supportive :) and i am improving my drawing skill for now :D which also has a great feedback from my friends :) publishing soon? maybe :P but i still have a long long waaaaay to go, far far away from an expert :)

starting from now onwards, i am not going to let a day slips without doing anything useful :) but it doesn't mean i will become a anti-social-person. i am still going to have fun and do the best :)

bad side: i hate guys who wastes their time disturbing girls with their bullshits LOL
no photo since it is going to take super-freaking-long to upload with this snail-speed connection!

freshlyARRIVED :)

delayed for almost one hour, my flight safely arrived at Juanda International Airport :) though with some difficulties (the plane was shaking quite hard before the landing and it was hard enough to make a few oxygen masks dropped) it was quite scary, but thank God, not long after that we landed safe and secure :D

picked up by my dad in the airport who just bought a fancy shades and with smug wear it on LOL
peace MAN!

full-force had dinner at Linkafe yesterday and i finally had my long-time-no-drink Avocado Juice!! *slurp* i was quite satisfied though i haven't get my soto yet :) oh yeah, my dad was laughing so hard when i asked him to eat soto with me, it triggered his memory when he came from Shanghai, immediately he looked for Soto Madura and he ate 2 portions of it LOL
this isn't the soto that i want!

me and my favorite avocado juice!

we got ourselves new toys to play with :D it's a punching bag, complete with the boxing gloves and a sparkling christmas decoration my mom bought :) we took pictures wearing the boxing gloves and it was quite funny. my dad and i did some weird poses which don't look like a boxer (we're just fake boxers LOL) :D in the other hand, my brother will always try to look cool in all his pictures. *hmph*

NEXTdestination: home-sweet-home :)

this is my last trip before i go back home tomorrow oops it's already thursday LOL. yeah, in less than 15 hours, i'll be in surabaya eating soto :D

so, i was strolling at orchard road with sean, irenes, and yan ru this afternoon. we had lunch at crystal jade *fancy* since i never eat there before :"( *regret* heehee. i had the roasted duck chicken congee which is superb! and the homemade soya bean drink. LOVE it! tried some dumpling-filled-with-prawn dipped into sauce-by-irenes. YUMMYYYY! i ate so much food these days. i-heart-happy-taste-foods :D

yumm dumpling!

we went to some 'branded' shops like the british india, ped der red shoes, and etc which i never dare to go in before. it was nice to see all those expensive attires which are actually really worth the price. but, i prefer to give the budget for all those sublime goods (if i have one) to someone else who is really in need. that's just a random thought of my mind :)

super super long queue at kinokuniya gave me headache! oh GOD! the last person queuing at cashier A, next to that person is the last person queuing for the cashier B. so both cashiers have super damn long queue. i wonder if someone bomb kinokuniya today, one-third of singapore will be gone. LOL

i shall end this blog since i haven't packed anything for my-backtohometown-trip. see ya!

perfectlyLONELY

it doesn't mean i feel lonely :) these days i am finally starting to get used being alone, or should i say independent? heehee. i am happy :) is it the sign that i closed my door once again? well, i do not know. just let the future proves it :)

it's been a nice weekend and weekdays :) since i don't feel gloomy mondays anymore. everyday is a holiday :D went orchard road a few times, far east plaza a lot of times until i want to vomit :P and it's been so long since i stepped into ion orchard HOORAY! :) chilling and just chit-chatting at mc cafe. watched DUE DATE which actually i find it 'only' quite funny, compared to my friends who were keep laughing along the movie.

catch a glimpse of the xmas decoration with all the lights on

went to visit my internship's workplace last monday, tried mouth-watering cakes from flor by chef yamashita. YUMM! it's so delicious, the soft textures of the cake, the crunchy biscuit, the fattening whipped cream (i hate whipped cream, but i love this one). mixed it into one. O-M-G! it feels that the cake just melts when it touches your tongue *slurp*. am i being exaggerate? ok, sorry. but it really tastes perfect :)

and i found a japanese restaurant down on the basement of ion orchard which katsudon tastes like heaven. it is so-with-many-'o's delicious. I can't really describe the taste, it's just taste perfect. the amount of each sauce and seasoning are all just nice :) hmm. i want to eat it again before i go back :( i hope i have the time.
YUMMY!!

and in less than 48 hours i'll be in my beloved city eating soto. Just thinking about it makes my stomach growl *rawr*. think i can open my own mini-taster of royce since i bought 5 boxes and 1 box extra from my friend as birthday gift :D

dejaVU

assessment is over!! :) but i don't feel like WOOHOO-ing :( because i did a pretty lousy job with the presentation boards and sewing (a lot of wrong finishing *sigh*). I know.. i know.. i didn't do my best like what Gary said to me. But regrets are not going to change anything, so i just have to make sure that my next 4 outfits are going to be FABULOUS! as if it is going to be that easy. LOL.

I still have one semester to go! and I promise myself to do the best from tomorrow onwards!! *not disappointing Gary anymore* fighting!! but as for now, i am still enjoying my quiet moments without works and rushing :)

these days (last minute works, rushing, unprofessional works) reminds me of my days in year 1 semester 1 when i was still a newbie in this 'fashion' thingy that's why the title of this post is dejaVU.

here are some pics in the last few days before assessment :) i look quite ugly and disastrous but i enjoyed the moment me, jesslyn, and janissa stayed up doing works, did some stupid choreography, hula hoop-ing, and etc :)
me and janissa :)

the three musketeers :D

end assessment day with MEGAMIND <3

VOYAGEdeLaVIE

Voyage De La Vie is a theatrical circus performance which has been showing in Resorts World Sentosa for quite some time. The starting of the show was quite surprising as someone gripped my shoulder from the back, turns out he was one of the casts. There were quite a few of them who did the same thing and they were all crawling through the spectators to get to the stage. Some children were crying because of the shock and I was quite insecure to sit comfortably after that LOL. More casts were going out and showcasing their talents. There were so many things to see and I can't stop my eyes from moving to one after another. It was so exciting! :D Based on my point of view, the show is about a guy who has been brought to another world to seek his destiny. All their talents are amazing, great musics, wonderful songs, and it was worth the price :) I would love to watch it again.
spectacular :)

MErecently

The past 3 months have been such a life changing experience for me. Starting from my inability to accept the reality and keep asking why the hell these things happened to me. Lots of downs and a little ups, depressing moments which i never experienced before. It feels that those moments destroyed me into pieces to slowly build up a new me which is better than before. So, i am happy now and i surrender everything to God.

Being a little help for my friend, to be able to communicate her unexpressed feelings and finally getting a progress. I am really happy. I feel that this is the reason why i have to be in the same class with her this year. In order to find the reason of your existence, it doesn't have to be a big thing, just helping others to feel happy will be good enough :)

Gotta go, jesslyn is waiting for me in Chinatown to let the fabrics rob our money again T.T

TOILETunes

beautiful song leads to happy life :)

a friend of mine named Jesslyn who loves jazz introduced me to a song called Cruisin' by Sioen. I instantly fell in love with it and that song entered my top 50 most played in a short period of time. Curiosity of other jazz songs lead me to this saxophone player called Dave Koz. Tears were falling down when I heard his instrumental version of I'll be There. It was just music without lyrics but somehow his message has delivered to me :) And it is his song You are Me I am You which I have decided to use it as my wedding march song. LOL. It's just touched my heart when I listened to it. I announced it to my friends and they just called it 5-stars hotel's toilet songs when they heard it. But, it's actually quite true. So, I thought why jazz songs? It has a purpose which has affected me too, it calms you down and lower your stress level. I am happy to find the cure of my stress :)

I hope it helps you too :)

MADinManhattan

happy taste foods blew off our stress :)

had spent 9 hours sewing and unpicking our first outfits, our heads started to smoke. so me, jesslyn, and janissa were heading to iluma to eat the ramen restaurant which i forgot what was the name. friends of us had witnessed the yummness of the foods there, so we were curious. after reached the place, seeing that we can get a buffet with cheaper price on lunch time. we turned our way to nearby restaurant called Manhattan the Fish Market. we ordered Manhattan seafood platter for-two and mushrooms for starter. once the waitress came with the mushroom, we just poke our forks to the mushroom and crunched it in our mouth. it was soft and melted on our tongue. the main course came, we just attacked it and finished in no time. sayonara stress :)

i am going to rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. it was worth the price :)

P.S. : i regret that i forgot to pluck out my camera's battery from the charger :(

see our happy faces :D
