the delicious day 3 - when today is all about foods!

i finally back to singapore!

it was days ago when i last updated this post. gosh! i was so tired these few days, i don't know why. i think i already had these permanent dark circles on my eyes :( guess i should buy liquid concealer to cover it. if not, people will always think i lack of sleep everyday.

back to where i was.. BANDUNG! let's nostalgic the happy memories i had there :D

it was a Sunday for my third day. i woke up at 7.30a.m. woohoo!! that is such an accomplishment due to the fact i-have-an-insomnia-and-always-wakes-up-at-lunch-time :( i did want to wake up early, so there was one time i force myself to wake up and later on, i didn't feel so good about my body. though i always keep silent. yeah. so i was going to this cathedral at Bandung with Jesslyn, her boyfriend, and Leoni also :) the priest was so good during homily. he was short, sharp, and clear! i do still remember what he said :) we have to be brutally honest to people in order to improve everyone, that's the main point :) the exciting part comes after the mass! we get to taste some of Bandung's traditional foods :D starting from liang teh, ambo kueh! :) the siomay, kueh ape, and labalaba YUMM! i do eat all of that, it was quite surprising consider i was having a gastric pain a lot last year. the most-mouth-watering one is ambo kueh! i would definitely have to eat that again if i get to go to Bandung again someday *fingers-crossed* i don't really quite remember how they're all taste, but it definitely was superb! and just lemme show you through pics :D

i am writing this blog and watching masterchef Australia at the same time! yahoooo!! :D --> flash news :)

back to happy-yummy-tasty-day :)

me and Leoni were meeting Joana while Jesslyn and her boyfriend having their own date :) the three of us: me, Joana, and Leoni took a quite good window shopping walk at Paris Von Java, it's a mall's name :) but mall is a NO-NO for me and Leoni since our own cities have lots of malls. we don't bother to visit another one even on a different city, it's the same freaking atmosphere! i need more natural-feel places to go :D so we picked up Rachel and meet up with Janissa at Rumah Mode which has known as a fab place to shop! you can find branded stuffs from Zara, TopShop in an affordable price since they are all rejected stuffs. rejected doesn't mean torn. small-out-thread --> reject which sometimes not so visible to our eyes. so yeah, GREAT STUFFS! unfortunately, i didn't find anything quite amusing. okay i did try this sheer-baggy-shirt. it looked superb on Joana. on the other hand, i looked like a hooker-just-got-out-from-a-hotel so i DEFINITELY didn't buy it.

RUMAH MODE!!

we moved on to Bawean, a cake shop which chocolate wafer is the-most-happiness-taste i have ever tasted in my life. okay , maybe i was too exaggerating but it really did taste happiness :D corners-of-my-mouth-slowly-curved-up every time i was eating it :) i bought chocolate cakes with rum, sausage brood, banana crackers, chocolate almond brownies, and of course the chocolate wafers. it was still not enough for my mom. my family did fall in love with all the foods. gosh! it was superb!

dinner time at izzi steak palace. nice and warm interior with tasty-great-steaks-to-enjoy. perfect food! perfect mood! perfect price! love it and enjoy it so much. my dear friend Joana who recommended this restaurant told me there will be a ballroom dance performance every Tuesday, if i'm not mistaken :P

during a chat with my dear friend Lita, i found out that WARM is the perfect word to describe everything that i want in my life. a warm guy to be with, a warm house to live in, warm friends to hang out with, a warm family which i already have, and another warm family to have in the future. so warm is the exact word for me and my life :)

the next place has the warm feeling that i love. it is a Pasir Kaliki Hyper Food Market. enjoying snacks, breathing in easy breezy air, while listening to a live band singing jazz songs. how i love those kind of places. and just enjoy the show - Lenka :) that's what i did. enjoy the show :) too bad i can't stay for so long there. i would love the spend a night there if i could. it really is the exact-warm place i've been looking for :)

as for day 4, i spend most of the day packing and waiting at the airport. i was quite paranoid as there is only one gate. there was no board to show which flight was arrived. to make it worse, the announcer's sounds was so small i can't hear a thing. thank God i checked with the staff there to make sure and kept looking at the other passenger's tickets who are queuing also to look whether they have the same ticket as me. i was able to arrived at Surabaya safe and sound :) would definitely go to Bandung again!! i love it so much to consider it as my residence in the future but too bad it was defeated by Bali :)
